'Incidents' becomes 'Events'
We're changing some terminology around: 'Incidents' becomes 'Events'. As we add more detection types and other forms of reasoning to the Volt detection engine, we wanted to create a unified category for all these occurrences, henceforth referred to as 'Events'.

The left navigation menu is also collapsable, giving you the freedom to explore your Events and facilities with more content area.
User Management
Welcome to the Unified User Management page β your one-stop solution for managing user accounts, permissions, and roles across your entire organization. This powerful tool has been crafted to streamline the complexities of user administration into a simple, efficient, and cohesive experience.
Key features:
User Accounts: View and manage all user accounts from a single interface. Create new users, update profiles, and manage account lifecycles with ease.
Roles and Permissions: Assign and adjust roles with predefined permission sets to ensure users have the access they need to fulfill their responsibilities.
Access Levels: Implement and oversee access with fine-grained permissions. Securely manage who has access to what within your system, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
Group Management: Organize users into groups based on department, role, or location. Apply policies and controls at a group level for efficient management.
Search and Filter: Quickly find users or groups with robust search functionality and filter tools, making user administration faster and more intuitive.
Users
Easily add, remove, or edit users that have access to your Volt account. Also, now you can see those users who haven't accepted their invitation to join the Volt platform yet and remove or resend the invitation if necessary.
Roles
Volt offers three pre-defined user roles:
Admin
Full access to every control in the account
Manager
Access to add, edit, or remove controls in the assigned facilities
Operator
The ability to view and respond to Events in the assigned facilities
Choose to assign one of the default roles or create your own.
Groups
Create groups to easily manage access to some or all of your facilities.
Each group has a dedicated access level, meaning that you will assign a role to all of the selection facilities. By default, each group has all facilities selected.
You can also assign one of your custom roles to the group if you like.
Camera Masking
Privacy and Improved Operations
Camera masking is an important privacy and operational efficiency feature that allows you to selectively obscure specific areas in your camera's field of view. This ensures areas are not monitored by our AI, enhancing privacy and security. Many customers choose to mask TV screens, clear windows, roadways, and more to reduce alarm noise or maintain privacy.
Simply right-click on any camera and click MASK to access the controls.
